Close at hand is Le Village, where you can find shops, restaurants, and internet access. Grand Case, one of the gourmet resorts of the Caribbean, is ten minutes away by car. The climate is tropical but Orient Beach is cooled by the Alizes (Trade Winds) throughout the year. St Martin can be reached by direct flight from Europe and the US.
