Set in a quiet elevated position overlooking open
countryside, the cottage has two acres of rambling gardens and grassed amenity areas. Just past the property, the access lane changes to a footpath (part of the GR 341 coastal footpath) which drops down to the beautiful Trieux river as it meanders its way through the delightful, steep, wooded valley towards Pontrieux, just a 20min walk away.
The property is in easy reach of the coastline surrounding it on three sides, and the many medieval villages dotted around.
Open all the year round, Cos Stang sleeps 8+ having four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The open plan ground floor layout is also in two halves but linked together by a doorway. The tiled, fully equipped kitchen comprises top quality fitted units with built-in oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer and dryer. There is also a microwave/grill, toaster, iron and ironing board. A separate table is provided for activities such as drawing, writing etc. The kitchen opens onto the large tiled dining room which, in addition to the 8 place dining table, has comfortable seating and a piano.
A door links to the other half of the cottage where there is a comfortable sitting room with dvd/cd, video and radio facilities, and a separate games room with a professional table tennis table and dartboard. Both the sitting room and the games room have french windows leading out onto the garden. The lack of steps on the ground floor, the provision of a large ground floor toilet next to the kitchen and the bed settee in the sitting room, makes it accessible for persons with physical disabilities.
Upstairs there is one double and one twin bedded room
together with a bathroom in one half of the cottage and the same accommodation in the other half, each accessed by its own winding staircase (ideal for two families on holiday together and each liking a little privacy).
