luxury room/board in exchange for household help (no kids)

We are a couple, 53 and 63, with some health problems so find it difficult to take care of the house, do errands, etc.Jack is scottish and suffers from depression/anxiety (he is under treatment and doing quite well now. Lisa is from San Francisco and has multiple physical problems that lead to fatigue and pain; she must rest a lot but recently the pain has been better treated.) We are looking for just the right person who might want to stay here, helping us normally during the week.we offer a... very lovely private suite with separate shower room and separate toilet.We need someone who would be sensitive to the difficulties of living with chronic health problems and who would be prepared to do those things that could make our lives more livable. We would like an upbeat, positive person, a willing and helpful person, someone who takes pride in doing things well and who is non-judgmental, that is, someone who understands that we are all individuals and that we will sometimes look at things differently. it is especially important that the candidate be able to show understanding for us (that we sometimes feel unwell or that our health difficulties have an impact on our lives.). that said, we also try to be understanding of other people and our motto is: kindness counts!
We are just 23 min by direct train from Paris. Details to be discussed. NO SMOKING/NO SMOKERS. We are quiet and clean living with a gorgeous garden (inc fruit and veg), 2 chickens, 2 dogs, and 1 cat.(You must love animals)We prefer someone bilingual french/english but we speak both.
I normally do the shopping and cooking (I am an exc. cook.) Your meals and your suite will be provided.The option is to stay for 1-3 months.We currently have a gardener (at least until Oct.) and we have a helper coming until June. After that we are open to proposals. We are also possibly interested in someone who would live either with us or outside but who could come do gardening for us with arrangements to be worked out (a professional gardener, preferably british, would be ideal.) We are open to possibilities. Normally our helpers are here on short stay visas or have other obligations and thus commit themselves to staying here for several months, some longer, some shorter. We are not looking for anything too permanent however (we are happy to discuss options.) In general, our helpers have been here during the regular work week and take time off on weekends and evenings, with occasional long weekends to go traveling. Our schedule is flexible and there is a possibility the candidate could go into paris for a class, etc. In general, though, we need someone who is happy to have the peace of our semi rural situation and who would enjoy the garden, a time to hang out here, walk the dogs in the nearby forest, have time for reading/writing and just spending some time in france.Thank you very much for your interest, and please give us information about yourself, your needs/desires/talents/availability, and also a phone number if possible.
