Situated in the heart of the historic Bastille area, our beautiful, fully furnished, split-level studio apartment sits inside a delightful 17th century garden and is available, for the month of August 2008. Minimum stay of one week.

Centrally located and very close to several handy metro lines, (Ledru Rollin, Charonne, Bastille and Voltaire) in the heart of the 11th arrondissement, with all types of cafes, bars and restaurants just a casual stroll away. Two minutes walk from the Marche d'Aligre, one of Paris' best outdoor fruit, meat and vegie markets and its covered market, for all types of specialty food stalls.

We are easy walking distance from Paris’ two beautiful islands on the Seine, the quaint Marais with its Picasso museum and the Pompidou center, and to bridges that cross over to the Latin quarter and to the Sorbonne. Close by buses to Cluny/Sorbonne, the 5th and rue de Rivoli.

The apartment includes:

• A recently refurbished kitchen with dishwasher, full size fridge, and electric oven, ceramic-top burners, cookware, crockery, cutlery and glassware

• A lounge / dining area with a herringbone, wooden parquet floor, high ceiling (3.7 meters), and lots of windows. The lounge has very comfortable furniture. The dining table converts to seat 6 people comfortably

• Bathroom with a full bath, shower and washing machine

• Mezzanine bedroom with very comfortable double bed and clothes rack and office area with built in desk

• Bed and bathroom linen

• Outdoor table setting for el fresco dinners

• TV with built in VHS player

• DVD player (All regions)

• Two set cordless telephone

• Ceiling fan

• Gas heating

Essentially, the apartment has pretty well all you need.

The price includes:

• Free landline telephone calls for local, national and U.S, Canada, U.K, Australia and many other countries (calls to cell phones not included)

• Unlimited High-Speed Internet (DSL) with WiFi

• Wireless cable television

Price per week: 450 Euros. (450 Euros security deposit refundable after final inspection)

Unfortunately we have a small-child-unfriendly staircase, so no small children please.
